Is there anybody out there?

Is it worth it? Writing a blog, I mean? I can't help but notice the lack of comments I've received on my blog recently, and it leads me to the inevitable question of whether or not anyone actually still reads this? Perhaps you do but you're shy or perhaps I just haven't posted anything which warrants feedback, speculation or argument recently.

I've decided to stop posting unless I receive at least 10 comments from readers demanding that I continue or their lives will simply not be worth living (or something like that). I don't do this for my own self-gratification. If there isn't anyone out there reading this then I'll keep details of my exciting life to myself instead of making them public.

So, is it worth it?

Please continue. I felt this way too, but have decided to go on.

Also, does more than one comment from the same person count ;)

Thanks Iain for the support, but multiple comments don't count. Nor does mine. Still, nearly half way there. Keep 'em coming!

Come on readers! Show some support! I just need 6 more comments! If I don't have comments from 10 different people by the new year then it's over! No more blog for me. Sniff! Sniff!

Merry Xmas by the way.

Hallo

I hope that you accept late entries as I also vote for the continuance of "What Dunky Did Next".

I read every post when I was in Denmark but have been slacking from my blog reading since I got back.

However, I believe that you do get "self-gratification" out of it. I do too, as writing about oneself and sharing this information with others does make one feel better. :) I suppose it is like a session with a psychologist but without the expensive fees. (Don't pick at my analogy!)

In addition, if you are to continue may I suggest other stories than those about your sleeping pattern? ;) For instance, get a night job as a lion tamer... hmmm, what?

Yes.

Thank you,

Derek

Hey Duncan!

Of course we read you! Just don't always comment. No one ever comments on mine either. Did find our most of Derek's friends do read it. Bit weird that people you hardly know know all about you, but guess that's the point! Anyway. Keep it up!

Love,
Mariken
